Experience and Education

Over 15 years coaching experience with a love for teaching all levels of mini tennis and beginners.

• Experience in training, organising and travelling with teams to compete in Herts and Middlesex Leagues.
• Team captain for Herts Youth Games 8u and 10u.
• Experience in teaching special needs including regular classes with Lakeside school WGC (7 years)
• NVQ Sports Leadership
• Advanced course in Mini Tennis
• Level 1 ASA Swimming Instructor

Melanie began working at Lister Tennis Club in April 2011 after an almost 11 year career at Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City. Since her move to Lister she has take over the running of the club in September 2016 as Director and Head coach with the backing of a dedicated Management Committee.

Additionally Melanie taught swimming at an independent swim school at Queenswood School for 10 years with both of her sisters who also have careers in sport and education.
